When people think of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, the first thing that will come to their minds is Martin Luther King Jr.
But, even though he constributed a great deal to the development of equality of Afro-Americans, he isn't the only successful activist that deserves credit for the change of a society.
There are many characters in this period who have shaped it through their belief that the country they're living in isn't fair and that justice ist nothing to wait for, but something which needs to be fought for - if peacefully or not.
