"I HAVE A DREAM" - Martin Luther King Jr.
Introduction
Martin Luther King Jr. is probably the most famous activist of the Civil Rights Movement. He fought long and persistently for the equality and social acceptance of Afro-Americans in a society that was almost exclusivly governed by Whites, many of them racist and discriminating. Not taking no for an answer, he kept to his principles of peaceful and non-violent protests and didn‘t even modify them when he himself or protesters were confronted with extreme violence.
Forming U.S. culture, society and law forever, he left a big footprint in history as the youngest man to receive the Nobel Prize for Freedom and serving as a hero figure to many who would follow him.
